Kor'sarro Khan on bike for sale

Posted by President Evil on Monday, 24 May 2010 , under | comments (0)

Hey, just a quick update to show more detail of my Kor'sarro Khan conversion. I made this when i was debating whether to build my bike army as white scars. I decided not to, so now he's for sale.

I used some space wolf and warhammer fantasy parts to give him a more feral/mongol look and to emphasise his 'master of the hunt' status. I really like how he looks and my white scars were going to have a similar blend of parts to acheive the right look.
Unfortunately for the white scars, the look and personality of the ravenwing appealed to me more, so this Khan is now surplus to requirements.

I wanted to post this one last night with the others, but it got late.
Another product of bits mountain that i just have no time or space for :(
Although i would really like to paint it, so if it doesn't sell this time, expect it to get a paint job.

He's got a red grail in one hand and a power sword in the other as well as lots of little accessories and apothecary parts.
Here it is:

Space marine conversions for sale

Posted by President Evil on Thursday, 13 May 2010 , under | comments (0)

As bits mountain continues to shrink, i keep coming across parts that inspire conversion ideas, and me being me, I tend to build them. I build far more models than i can possibly hope to paint at the moment, so they are being auctioned. Have a look:

The deathwatch kill team:

They are all different chapters, with poses indicating a personality or 'class' that suits their background:

The Space wolf leader.

A raptor legion sniper/scout type

A kind of badass gunner - has a blank shoulderpad but i would imagine imperial fists or something 'fist' based.

Blood angels assaulty, agressive one. He's my favorite. classic deathwatch look :)

Oh and the smurf. A 'by the book' engineer/tactician sort of guy. Hes got a little servo-skull buddy on his base.

The action is Here.

Next is an apothecary on bike. I was going to use this, but now maybe not. I have the parts to make another anyway.

Auction here

A techmarine

Doubled up the rear wheel to make it look a bit more hardwearing as i imagine a techmarines bike would be and put a fuel tanks and various pouches and accessories around.

Quick update: that spare Dreadnought

Posted by President Evil on Monday, 26 April 2010 , under | comments (0)

I plan on talking about space marines soon, as i am drawing to the end of my eldar army target for now and have a new marine project waiting in the wings. Before i get onto that, however, i have to clear out some old stuff. So this plastic dreadnaught is for sale on Ebay. Its got some great battle damage modelled on, a nice base with some imperial bits, a few extra parts, gaps filled, weapons drilled, mold lines cleaned etc. Basically ready to paint. Incidentally if anyone wants it painted, i'll do it in whatever army colours and will paint on the required logos and weathering if desired. Or you can just take it off my hands and clear me a little space :)
Here are some pics:

Pictures came out a bit blue though...

Fuegan for sale

Posted by President Evil on Friday, 23 April 2010 , under , , , | comments (0)

I'm currently selling this phoenix lord Fuegan miniature, painted to a very high standard as can be seen in these pictures.

Check out the Ebay auction here.

I've been using Fuegan in a few games and he's served me well. Although he functions well enough in a squad of fire dragons, my favorite use for him was with a unit of 5 wraithguard and a conceal warlock with singing spear. These guys can zip around in a wave serpent and cause some serious hurt when they jump out. They cut through vehicle squadrons with ease and can hold their own against anything. Despite the high points cost, this unit has turned the tide of battle for me many times. Once it hits the enemy lines, little will stand in its way. So there you have it. Buy Fuegan, try it out for yourself!
